I do like it how they had Fawkes' leaving Hogwarts closing the HBP movie though. Those who hadn't read the book wouldn't have given much thought to it, but to the book-lovers it was a nice touch that even though they didn't have the funeral, they added a little something for the fans.

I was also dissapointed with the end of this film...it felt very rushed...in fact to me the entire film had that rushed feel to it but i dont know if im the only one to fell that way?

I mean, I felt the whole end of the HBP movie was rushed somewhat. They did cut the funeral, but they did have Fawkes' Lament, as Harry tells Hermione and Ron he's not coming back for his seventh year, which was a touch for the fans who'd read the books that Dumbledore's funeral had recently taken place.
