I cried when Cedric died in GOF, when Dumbledore died at the end of HBP, and when Dobby died at the end of DHP1. But I cried with especially strong emotional reactions to some things in DHP2. 1st,the scene in Lily tells Harry how loved he is and tells harry "be safe be strong.",the part os Snape's memories in Dumbledore explains that Harry must die,and the scene of harry in the forest going to face his "death."

Thought both the movies were brilliant. I cried when Hedwig died, through Snape's memories and cried when everybody rallied together to protect Hogwarts. It was very moving for me.

Watching the movie what made me cry was the scene where Snape dies and when hedwig died ...tht scene was very quick but i just started thinking about how long Harry has had him and if it wasnt for the book i would never have seen it coming.

Thank you J.K. Rowling for allowing us to visit the magical, fun, adventerous world of Harry Potter we all have come to know, and love! I am sad that the series is over though, I grew up reading Harry Potter. May Harry Potter forever live in our hearts! Keep writing more epic stories, J.K. Rowling! I am looking foreword to more books!

I wouldn't want to imagine a world without Harry Potter, it really has been my 'past present and future'. I will 'always' cherish these books. Honestly Harry Potter helped me through the hardest times in my life, I couldn't imagine life without it anymore...and of course the wonderful people I have met due to this series, be they fictional or non [lol] And I agree with you there, we do owe J.K. Rowling our thanks for this

Yes. Harry Potter for me when I got into it was 3rd grade. My teacher got me hooked on the books cause she had them. It's so depressing that its all over. When I was going thru things, Harry Potter was a world I could escape to. I will always have the memories and the fantasies and adventures it holds. But its still a bummer. I was disappointed with the last movies. I was looking forward to Dumbledore's past and they cut it all out. Still, Harry Potter gave me alot. I thank J.k. Rowling. A remarkable woman.

I did shed tears several times, in the apocalyptic courtyard scene, Greyback's attack on Lavender and George's death. But the Lily and Severus scenes were just too weird for me, you know. It was just too weird for me to see the seemingly heartless teacher suddenly having all this emotion was too much of a character shift for film. I was shocked in the book also when I read The Prince's Tale and it was easier to feel sorry for Snape in the book. But the movie just didn't do anything for me.

The final movie did not make me cry, but, rather, I accepted it as a decent way to end the story. It does so in a positive fashion, by showing us that the protagonists could overcome the obstacles put in their lifepath by He-Whose-Name-Must-Not-Be-Named. John V. Karavitis
