Thank you Dobby for those kind words although this is not a what if its a voting. Yes its way past time for me to add these up lol.
I agree Cami, Luna is a very brave one and I really like her she was a fun character. I loved it when those girls told Harry he could sit with them instead and he said they are my friends lol put them in there place.

I dont know if she is the bravest but magiaclmom is certainly one of the smartest because she has started 3 of these what if threads and even though its just writing the same old list over and over they are some of the most popular threads on the board

I do think Luna's brave. She lost her mother at an early age but always remembers her fondly and remembers she still has her father. She doesn't have friends most of the time but still faces everyone with kindness and optimism and at her age (or anyone), facing that does take courage. And though she's not a "leader" in the Ministry chase in OOTP, she does take part, as well as responding to coming to help when the DE take the castle in HBP and she takes willingly takes part in the Hogwarts battle in DH. Maybe she isn't a leader, but she is brave.

For me the bravest are the people who are really scared to do something but do it anyway. I felt like Harry did that again and again and also Neville,Ron, Hermione. I think Lupin was especially brave because he had to live with a disability and the to help the OOP he went and lived with the werewolves which he hated-I think that was incredibly courageous.

Dobby I have explained it to you over and over so I am not going to do it again sorry.
Rallem I have which was something i suggested at the begining of this thread but I shall repeat it for you. I do like your reasons.
Severus Snape (He faced the LV constantly knowing it could mean his end before and after he was alive. Even though he didn't like Harry he went out of his way to protect him which was not easy with him. at the top because he is my favorite.)
James Potter (He was part of the Order trying to take down LV so you know that could not have been easy. he also went to face him wandless to give his wife and baby a chance. why seond I like anyone who would give there all to protect thier family.)
Lily Potter ( Same for her and she was willing to die to save her son. )
Remus Lupin (He faces prejudice for something he had no control over. he was also part of the order doing things that were dangerous for him.)
Sirius Black (He grew up in a fmaily of dark wizards but was willing to turn his back on it and do what was right.) I just really like him
Hermione granger (She stood by Harry side no matter what and was willing to help him even if it meant danger to her.) she is one of my favorites.
Draco Malfoy (I think he saw the errors of his way and knew which side to be on. he wasn't the bravest but he did learn to be a better person. he also tried very hard to keep his fmaily safe.)
Fred Weasley (They may be impulsive but they were very brave and willing to fight. i just love these two they are so much fun and don't mind laughing at danger.
George Weasley see fred.
Narcissa Malfoy although scared for her son she was willing to lie to LV to get inside to save him.
Nymphadora Tonks she fought bravely in the war and she worked hard to be a good person and fought to get remus to love her. I just like her she's cool.)

I think Dobby that they're trying to keep the thread on the front page. I would be cool if people would pick one character and explain why he or dhe was brave and where on the list it puts him or her and wh they are above and below in the list. That would be interesting.
I'm not really sure Luna Lovegood should be on the list of brave characters. Sure Luna is an intelligent character who has levels of complexity, but in my honest opinion she only reacts to situations and never really enacts on them.
