I have to agree with you 100% on that. Dumbledore's funeral was one of the key things that should have been put in the film. It bothers me so much when they leave out very important things such as this and put in unnecessary scenes i guess they do this to keep the non-readers entertained. But to those of us who have actually read the books it's annoying.

The burrial not being included in the sixth film was one of the things that upset me sooo much, i mean so much happened at that time, Harry really realising that he wouldn't be returning to Hogwarts, Him leaving Ginny to keep her safe and so he could go out and finish what Dumbledore started, all this happened at the time of Dumbledores funeral and yet it wasn't important enough to fin into the movie while things not included in the book were put into this movie...I personally think it would have added so much to the film and made the job of creating the next film so much easier had they put it in the film...but its too late now and the film was still entertaining and had the basis of the book even if it wasn't exactly what JK Rowling wrote.

I think that Dumbleores funeral and Dobbys burial were I think the 2 most important incidents that gave Harry the willingness to put himself second and stopping voldemort as the priority.

I really hope they dont rush through Dobbys burial and they understand that its a part where Harry kind of finnaly accepts its me or voldemort before he had been hoping he could be saved by the hallows so he could destroy voldemort but avoid sacrifising his own life.

After the buriel the distraction of the hallows is over and its horcruxes and voldemort norhing else matters

once again that movie director leaves out Harry's most vulnerable states that shows he's only human instead of this fanatic wizard that everyone says he is. That particular moment help give him the strength to fight.hopeful it will be in DH part1.

Would Dumbledores funeral have fitted in with the movie?

Apparently David Yates wanted to leave out the funeral and have that stupid wand tribute because he felt the funeral was not in fitting with the charecter of the movie which I think is just rubbish.

Dumbledores death is important the charecter and also the way Harry kind of changed and became focussed on the horcruxes even giving up Ginny.
I thought in the book was one of the most moving bits he is breaking his heart and giving her up but he is doing it because he has to go after the horcruxes and it shows he is still the same old Harry who puts others first.

In the end we just got Harry telling Hermonie his plans and she telling him that he needs her & Ron
Totally rubbish just like the one and only kiss there was no sense of importance to it like with the kiss more like an offhand comment.
