I've read the first 2 books in The Inheritance Cycle. I bought the third at the midnight party, but for whatever reason haven't gotten around to reading it (I think you could safely blame Twilight for that). I loved the first two and even the movie that no one else seems to be able to stand.
I haven't heard of the others you mentioned, though. Will have to check them out. I'm always looking for something new to read.
I still have Dan Browns Lost Symbol sitting on my table waiting to be read too, but I'm doing a reread of LKH's Merry Gentry series before her next book comes out in Dec so it'll be a while before I get to anything new.

How's everyone this morning?

Ghost Hunters, huh? My daughter is obsessed w/ that now. I've never watched it though.
Well, I'm glad you're ungrounded. I spent most of my teen years grounded. So not fun.
That's ok. We won't hold you lack of love for twilight against you [lol]. I know lots of peeps who can't stand it. I abhor Breaking Dawn, but the other 3 books I absolutely adore.
I just found a new series last week - Wicked Lovely. I devoured the first 3 books in 3 days and am waiting for the 4th to finally be released in April, I think.
You guys reading anything good? Hard to find replacements for HP. I still haven't found another series of that caliber. Probably never will. Man I miss the days when we were between books and discussing all the unfinished plot points.

I disappeared because I was grounded for two days. Then Ghost Hunters was on the day I was ungrounded so......

I didn't see New Moon. Honestly I can't stand Twilight. I don't think it was hat good of a book.

I'll go by how you think of it then some idiot reviewer. The one I read on line liked the werewolves as guys they thought the computer ones were too jerky in thier movements and thought other things were to rushed and not good dialog. But they are probably not much of a fan lol.

we might go this weekend instead, I'll let you know if we do.[supergrin]

Hey IceKit! You sort of disappeared for a couple of days around here. Good thing I had Cami to keep me company, though 1/2 of our convo has mysteriously disappeared.

OMG I'm so-oo tired. I'm way too old to be staying up until 3:30 and waking up at 8:00 [lol]
We had a good time. The movie started twenty minutes late because so many people were still trying to get seated they actually paused our previews right in the middle of Remember Me. Very frustrating.
Anywhoo, while NM had some faults - overall, I loved it and it is significantly better than Twilight. Kristen's acting, though not great, was better. Robert doers tortured better than anyone else so NM was right up his alley.

Well, I'm gonna finis this coffee then drag the kids to Eat N Park for some breakfast. We're being naughty and all skipping class today.

So, what'd everyone else think of NM? It got dreadful reviews in my newspaper, but this is the same person that rated Burn After Read a whole 4 stars so I'm not sure how seriously we can take that.

Midnight tonight. I swear its like Christmas day for me. I'm so excited. Pathetic, right?
I'm sure that this will be one of the first places I come when I roll in at 3 in the morning and I have a feeling I will have nothing but good things to say about it.

well that was nice of you. [supergrin]
My dog's very unhappy at the moment with our temporary visitor. Actually, my big cat is a bit peeved with this new arrangement too. The only one oblivious our my gerbils and they're the ones in the most danger [lol]

So how's everyone this fine evening?

Haha, I've got two dogs in my house- my neighbour's dog got out after he left for work. It's going to be 43degrees (109) today and we don't have much shade besides shaded concrete so I decided to take both dogs inside.

lol. Well, we did know how they feel about that particular book/movie series.
Trust me, I want no part of this cat, but its so small and really quite chilly here that I couldn't leave it outside. But this is just temporary. We're putting up flyers and if in a week someone doesn't come forward then we'll find a home for it. The things a beast. It climbs everywhere and far too fascinated with my gerbils.

Haha, they deleted most of our conversation, Sabrina!

Eek, I don't like cats. I'm a dog sort of person.
