Finally, after nearly 4 months, I can officially say, It is post time! Remember, be sure to get your reports in for the next issue.
P.S. Due to the lack of people on this board, I will be posting a issue a couple of times a month
THE QUIDDITCH POST
Issue #40
A Special Interview With Harry: Former Editor-in-Chief of the Quidditch Prophet
As many of you must've heard, the Quidditch Prophet shut it's doors on July 5th. Shortly after, our Strategy of the Day Reporter, Dolphina, maneged to get a response to our interview questions from Harry, the Former Editor-in-Chief of the Quidditch Prophet. Here they are:
1) How does it feel to be closing down the Quidditch Post after such a long time?
Well it was hard to decide to do it but if it has no readers I'm not going to waste my time anymore
2) What is your next step?
I don't know, I might be not on as much as these boards die though.
3) Are there hopes that you will re open the QP?
Not unless anyone becomes a reporter or wants me to still make it.
4) What happened to all the reporters?
They all quit. Dark was the last one of them
5) Do have plans of opening up a new paper?
Not really.
6) Do you have anything to say about the Quidditch Prophet, or it's employees?
Not really.
There you have it. Also, we just received word that this will be Harry's last month on the boards. From all of us here at the Quidditch Post, Farewell Harry.
Today's Weather
It will be cloudy for most of the day, with temperatures around the low teens. Thought it is a bit chilly, it is still a good day for Quidditch.
Broom of the Day:
Todays Broom of the Day is the TwiggerX. This broom is the old company's comeback. Specially designed for keepers and seekers, this sleek broom is navy blue and silver and especially maneuverable. It comes with a powerful cushion charm for comfort during long matches. The staple of this new broom is how much quality you get for the price. It sells for almost two times less then the Firebolt and is just as fast.
Strategy of the Day:
Today's strategy is all about intellect, or also know as the Sun Spot ! The Sun Spot is when the seeker flies up very high in line with the sun. Other players are blinded when they look upto the sun so they don't see the seeker. The seeker has a better chance of looking for the snitch without any bludgers coming their way. This is also a known strategy for beaters too, but not as common.
Quidditch Item of the Day:
Today's Quidditch Item of the Day is the Bristler Clipper. This tool is great for cleaning up loose bristles on your broom. This is a must for any Quidditch Fan. Cost: 3 Sickles and 1 Knut (Prices come from Quality Quidditch Supplies)
Trend of the Day:
The newest trend has hit the Qudditch world by storm! The trend is full black with blood red lining. The team? The famous Forest Follycats! You can purchase this trend at any store near you!
Quidditch Book of the Day:
Today's Quidditch Book of the Day is "The History of Queerditch Marsh"
By Madam Marchbanks. This is the history of Queerditch Marsh, the birthplace of Quidditch. Any Quidditch fanatic should buy this book. It contains helpful posters and illustrations of what it looks like now and what it looked like back then. Cost 2 Sickles, 6 Knuts Length: 467 Pages (Cost and Length come from Quality Quidditch Supplies)

This is what I said to Qs and he/she said that they thought it was a good idea, so that is what I'm doing. I also was under the immpression that it could be any type of graphic, not just Quidditch.

Kassie, all you have to do is provide Qs with a Quidditch Graphic. You need not to provide an interview also.

Sorry, Dark.
Heres my post Qs. Sorry it took so long.:
This was my interview with well-known graphic maker Jude from her shop 'Pretty Odd Graphics'.
Her exquisite use of colorization and editing is amazing, and everyone is pleased with her graphics.
This is what some of her customers had to say about her graphics.
''Magnificent graphics! I do agree that those are superb, haha. The colorizations are very pretty.''
-- Gogoninja (Lily) on Jude's graphics and colorizations showed to me.
''Ugh, okay seriously, I've always been jealous of your graphics.
They're so bloody spot on.''
-- Xnut.case on Jude's graphics.

1) What program did you use to make this graphic?
I used Adobe Photoshop Cs2
2) How long have you been making graphics?
I've been at it for quite a while now, a few
years I'd say. But only a couple of years with
Cs2
3) What was your inspiration for this signature?
The photos, actually. I found them on a website
(I wish I could give credit but the site is no longer
save to my computer..If anyone knows what site these
are from, I'd be eternally greatful.) The photos were
just so lovely. When I saw them I thought of the song
"God save the Queen" by the Se.x Pistols. It was just
a perfect fit with the photos. LOL.
4) (If you remember) How long did it take you to make
this signature?
This one took me a bout 40 minutes, from start to
finish.. that includes finding the textures used.
30-40 minutes though, is about average for my
graphics
5) Did you have any assistance making this? If so,
whom?
This signature was made by me alone.
