Katie shook her head, leaning away slightly to give the other a look. She smiled slightly, watching her cover her mouth and nodded. Someone had probably heard that, most likely they wouldn't have cared. They weren't doing any harm and it was a Friday. And, if Katie was lucky, she'd manage to keep the other's tone down. As well as her own. "Okay, several minutes," she teased the other and nodded, mounting her broom. Katie knew that they'd be out there longer then a few minutes. She herself didn't get enough of flying in just a few minutes.
"Twice around, then the lake," she repeated to herself, getting ready to kick off. "Got it," she nodded and then looked at Katie. It was only fair that she got a head start. After all, even with a head start, the other would most likely beat her. "Okay..Ready set go," she said quickly and giggled. Its not like Katie wasn't told when to go.. She just said it quickly. Pushing off as hard as she could, she sped ahead. Spencer's broom was probably faster, it was just an assumption, Katie never really questioned it. It was just because Spencer was a Chaser and Katie was a keeper.

Katie smiled, giggling when the other nuzzled into her neck, making her squirm and want to jump away from her. But she didn't, she never did. "Yea! Flying!" she said excitedly before falling silent, covering her own mouth so she wouldn't end up being loud again. She nodded, looking at Katie as she licked her lips "More then a few minutes." she said, giving her a soft and loving kiss before she grabbed her own broom, and gently stroked it as she held it in one hand.
Katie smiled as she looked up at her, holding her broom out so that it levitated perfectly next to her. "Race you twice around the Pitch and then the lake?" she asked with a smile, looking adorably at her as she got ready to jump onto her broom. She really couldn't wait for the first task, eager to know what it would be.

Katie smiled, watching her girlfriend admire the stars. She loved watching her when she just went off into her own place of thought. Then she was getting excited. Katie giggled. She loved watching her when she was like that too. "Okay," she said and hugged her close. "But you have to be quiet or else they won't let you compete," she said and nuzzled her neck. "You better survive," she said and then let go of her. She looked around, they were near the broom closet.
Smiling slowly, Katie licked her lips and opened it up. She pulled out Spencer's broom and held it in her hands. "Race?" she asked tilting her head. She knew Spencer would probably flip out if she knew Katie was racing around on her broom in the dead of night, but what did she care? Spencer wouldn't find out. Katie wasn't the star Quidditch player, but she could fly. And Spencer knew that, she just wouldn't admit it.
"Few minutes would do you some good anyways," she said and smiled, stepping to the side so Katie could get her own broom. She was hoping it would help relax her, if only a little bit. And if it didn't relax her, maybe it'd help her train. She knew the Tournament wouldn't be the same as the last time, with the same tasks, but if Harry got to use his broom in one of them Katie hoped her girlfriend would be able to use hers. Face it, Katie was just much better off getting around on a broom. And besides, Katie wanted to fly anyways.

Katie kept pouting at her cute until she was sure that she wasn't mad at her. "I know. And I'm still sorry." she said before giggling as she was put down. She stuck her tongue out at Spencer as she left with Dixie. They two had to stop mothering them. She liked it, and she didn't like it. It was annoying, and came in handy only sometimes. They could take care of themselves. Mostly.
Katie smiled, and giggled, trying to keep quiet as she was pulled along. She looked at Katie, watching her for a moment before looking around and trying to keep quiet, but she was giggling and it only stopped once they were outside. "Wow." she said, looking up as if it was for the first time. But every time at Hogwarts, and she looked up to see all those stars, she said wow and looked like it was the first time she saw the sky.
Slowly, Katie looked back down to her girlfriend, and smiled as she kissed her cheek, holding onto her hand as they walked towards the Quidditch Pitch. She nodded "Yea, I will. I'm going to have to be." she said, looking up at the sky and moon. "I know what happened with Cedric, and I won't let it happen! I'm going to survive, and I will win!" she said, excited and grinning big.

Katie blinked, watching the other come running out the door and smiled. It wasn't forced at all. How could she be mad at her? She'd tried being mad at her so many times. It was just simply impossible. Her smile got wider until she was giggling and caught her. She kissed her back softly and held her tight. Looking at her, Katie narrowed her eyes and scrunched her face, trying to look angry, but she just ended up looking cute. Unless she was honestly upset, there was just no faking it. "Uhm, before you did it, after you did it, walking around school, during dinner, before tonight," she said listing all of the times she could have told her. She kissed her cheek. "Whatever, you're a butt head for it though," she said and stuck her tongue out at her.
"You're lucky, now you don't have to play me in Quidditch," Spencer said and hit her arm playfully. "Good job," she said and smiled, then focused on her cousin. "See you back at the house," she said and allowed herself to be tugged along. Spencer tried to be a mother to Katie, she always had, but even more now that she was with Dixie. Still, Katie didn't really listen all the time.
"Come on," she said, letting go of Katie and tugged her along, out the doors. She put her fingers to her lips, motioning for Katie to be quiet. It was too late for them to go outside, but did it ever stop anyone? No. She smiled, opening up the doors and looked up. No clouds, a full moon, and about a bajillion stars. "You're gonna be careful, right?" she asked softly, keeping her voice from cracking but she couldn't keep the concerned tone away. They were headed towards the pitch, she just wanted to be out there with Katie before they had to go to their houses. "With what happened to Cedric and all.." she shouldn't have said that. Katie was just so protective, and especially of the other. Even when it wasn't necessary. She'd go out of her way to get back at anyone who had hurt Katie. Anyone. Or anything.

Katie stood there, sighing because she was bored. She didn't care about the rules, and everything that they were telling her. She just wanted to get out there and be with her girlfriend. She'd make it through, and she'd win. Grinning and nodding to herself, they were excused, and she was tore out of there, stumbling slightly before she was back in the Great Hall and making a bee line for Katie.
"Mine!" Katie said a loud, jumping onto her and kissing her as she wrapped her arms around her and held onto her tight. "I'm sorry." she said when the kiss was broken, pouting with a big bottom lip as she kept on her, not wanting to stand on the floor. "I didn't know when to tell you." she added, still pouting as she looked at her.
Dixie smiled "Hey, congratulations." she said, and Darkness ruffled Katie's black hair before they left, Dixie tugging Spencer along.

Katie nodded at Dixie, she understood. Of course, you'd think something like that would be shared. She glanced over at Darkness and smiled, nodding slightly. "Thanks," she said softly and looked up at Katie. She shook her head, smiling as she watched, hoping that her girlfriend didn't fall, as they entered the trophy room. Then, the Headmaster started speaking. He told them about what was happening, of course, they all basically knew what was going on, it was just standard procedure.
After he was done talking, he left them to go talk to the champions. "I'll be right back," Katie said and sighed, getting up and walking out with the other people who either didn't get picked, or didn't care to congratulate the winners. Some were upset for not winning, but others looked slightly relieved. Almost as if they entered on a dare, or it was their reputation. She turned the corner, leaving the group of people and walked into the bathroom. She looked at herself for a moment, almost as if she was having a conversation with her reflection inside her head. She nodded a few minutes later, thinking that maybe the Champions were coming out. She wanted to be with her girlfriend. To congratulate her, and ask why she didn't tell her. It wasn't something that was easily forgotten and if Katie tried pulling that one over on her she'd probably let her anger win.
Walking back in, Katie joined her cousin, who almost instantly put her hand on her back. Katie stepped away and shook her head."Not helping," she frowned up at her. She was happy about it, knowing that Spencer was trying. "I'll be fine," she muttered, smiling at them. "When are they coming out?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. She knew that maybe her happy face could be seen through by some, but very few. Or, maybe everyone saw through it but just didn't care enough. "Dibs on first kiss," she called, finally starting to be herself again, grinning widely.

Katie was excited as she stood with the other Champion's, grinning up at them and then out over the crowded hall. She was standing as tall and proud as she could, with a great big grin on her face. She was just so eager for the tournament to start, to take part in the first task and prove that she really did deserve to be a Champion. She'd be as good as Cedric, and better, she'd live.
Dixie slowly shook her head, smiling an apologetic smile at Katie "I thought that she told you. I'm sorry." she said, before looking over to her small friend. She just couldn't help but smile, it was hard not to because her friend was so small and yet, she looked just as big as the others because she was just so full of confidence and excitment. "I don't get how I was ever mad at her." she said, looking towards Darkness, who nodded in agreement as she rubbed Katie's back in hopes she'd be alright with what her girlfriend was going to be a part of. She only pulled her hand away when she saw the fake smile, knowing that it was fake but it was fooling enough.
Katie nodded and went with the other Champion's into the Trophy room, as the rest of the school would get talked to a little more before they would be excused. She could only hope that Katie, and her friends stayed and waited for her in the Great Hall.

The excitement was rising, not only in her, but everyone around them. Even the people who hadn't entered were dying to know who was going to defend Hogwart's name. She looked over at Katie and blinked. She opened her mouth, not quite sure what to say. She just figured once she got started then the words would spit out. Then, instead of saying what she wanted to say, the Headmaster spoke her name. She tried to tighten her grip on Katie's hand, but it was just no use. Katie was too excited and over powered her. Shaking her head, Katie's stomach sank. She was more nervous than anything now, she had at least hoped that maybe Katie would have thought to warn her.
"Did you know about this?" she hissed to Dixie. She was worried, and scared, and slightly upset, which frustrated her. She didn't like that you could hear it all in her voice, normally she could hide this stuff, but not when it came to her girlfriend. She licked her lips and glared up at the Champions, she looked more worried than anything. How could she not have been? The last Hufflepuff in the Tournament died. And he was an amazing Quidditch player just like Katie. She crossed one leg over the other and folded her arms. Walking out would have been the wrong thing, Katie didn't want the other getting upset.
After a few seconds of breathing deeply and a sip of pumpkin juice Katie managed to put on a happy face and looked up at her girlfriend, grinning proudly. Even though it was a lie, she was sure she was fooling everyone. And eventually, she'd come around, get used to the fact and think it was the coolest thing ever. After talking about it, and watching her, and helping her train for it all.

Katie smiled, and giggled when her girlfriend sat next to her, calming down slightly just because she was sitting with her. She was just so excited that she just might end up being Hogwarts' Champion, that she would end up a part of the Triwizard Tournament. She relaxed even more when Katie wrapped her arms around her, Dixie no longer had to hold onto her, but kept a hand over her mouth just incase.
The headmaster was drawing names from the other schools. And she giggled in agreement with her girlfriend that the others were tall, but then, everyone was taller then her. The second name was called, and pulled Dixie's hand from her mouth. She needed to tell Katie now that she had put her name into the Goblet of Fire, before her name, if it was her name, was pulled out of the Goblet.
Katie wiggled away from Dixie, pressing into the other, kissing her cheek before starting to whisper. "I um, I put my name in the Goblet." she said soft and excitedly. "I want to be Hogwarts Champion." she said, hoping that she wouldn't get mad at her for not telling her sooner. She would understand her being worried, but she was hoping she didn't end up mad at her. Especially now, as the Headmaster cleared his throat and read out her name. She let out a loud squeal of excitement, kissing Katie's cheek before she was off the bench and clumsily running to the front where the headmaster was. She had the biggest grin on her face.

Katie snorted, sitting next to her girlfriend and watched as Dixie struggled. There was no way she'd be able to help. Knowing her, she'd just make Katie fight more and the struggle would become much greater, making a bigger scene. She looked past Dixie and saw Spencer, sharing the same look as her. Both wanting to help, but knowing very well that there was no way. They shrugged at each other and leaned back, Spencer's attention on the professors, waiting for the Headmaster while Katie was still watching all the people. She still hadn't seen everyone and they were all just so amusing. Her eye caught Darkness, sitting next to her and she had to laugh. Katie was trying to hold it in, and she was doing such a good job at it. Until she saw Darkness. She closed her lips tightly and took a few deep breaths until she was relaxed a bit more.
Then the Headmaster came out, and Katie was still bouncing. Shaking her head Katie leaned over and kissed her cheek, sighed, and snuggled into her side. "Just calm down for like, ten minutes and we can go run laps around the Quidditch field or something," her voice sounded exhausted, as if she had been the one fighting with her and not Dixie. Tangling their fingers together, Katie sat up slightly as the Headmaster of their own school started to speak. He announced the winners of the visiting schools. One boy, John or something, he looked as tall as six feet, short brown hair, almost non-existent. The other, a red head girl named Eva who looked to be maybe Dixie's height. "Why is everyone so tall?" she whispered under her breath, knowing that only Katie, and possibly Darkness heard her.
She sat up almost right away. This time, it was Hogwart's turn. She herself was too young to enter, but it was still exciting. A few of her older friends had entered though. She suddenly forgot that this stupid Tournament canceled Quidditch. She was gonna try out this year, but that was down the toilet. The only thing she was thinking about was that her heart was going to fly out of her chest and hit some poor Ravenclaw sitting at the table next to her. The anxiety was killing her. The Headmaster knew it. Everyone was practically off their seats, leaning over, as if they'd be able to find out quicker.
((Alrighty, how 'bout you didn't tell me that you entered, kay? I'm assuming you wanna get picked still, right?))
