ok here's a harry potter riddle that I made up
I was set as a trap, for Harry to catch,
But there were so many, in one single batch.
He had to use me, to open the door,
and when he caught me, he said, "Score!"
(well, he didn't REALLY say that I just needed it to rhyme.)

Don't know why, but that's actually been one of my favorite riddles for a few years now. Sad I wasnt here to answer it.

a baby.
He crawls on all 4 when he's born, (morning) walks on 2 legs when he's young (afternoon) and then he walks with a cane (3 legs, get it?) when he is old (evening)
If I win this one I WILL think up the next riddle.
erin I have noticed some smileys don't work here too. I usually just space them apart from the words, and then they work.

I'm bowing out of this one...I've heard it before...
;)

Why aren't the smileys working?

What goes on four legs in the morning.
Two in the afternoon.
And three at night?

LOL...you've earned a reprieve from the bowler hat! Of course, it's a candle.
I hadn't heard the rest of it...but I like it, MK.

100% positive a candle's the answer to that one. If it's not, I'll eat Fudge's lime green bowler hat.
